Já foi famosa pela insegurança e hoje em dia, se pode andar tranquilamente por suas ruas, que são bem policiadas. Mas, pela grande quantidade de pessoas que circulam nas ruas, é sempre bom ficar atento.
La Candelária na Plaza Simon Bolivar
Procure evitar andar com objetos de valor ou ficar desatento pelas ruas, é sempre bom tomar cuidado. Porem, me senti muito mais segura nas ruas de Bogotá que em outras cidades do Brasil, tudo parece ser bastante vigiado e protegido, principalmente nas zonas mais turísticas.
Plaza Simon Bolivar
Chegamos pelo aeroporto de Bogotá, https://eldorado.aero/ Aeroporto El Dorado. Muito bom, organizado e movimentado, principalmente devido a Avianca que é de lá e suas conexões são feitas em Bogotá. Descendo no aeroporto o melhor meio de transporte até ao centro da cidade é o Táxi ou se não quiser gastar muito o Transmilênio, que é o transporte público de Bogotá. Basta comprar o cartão do Transmilênio que é bem baratinho e ir para a fila em frente a saída 8. De lá o ônibus K-86 segue para um terminal, por sinal bem organizado, que se chama Portal Eldorado. Desce desse ônibus que é pequeno e vá em direção a plataforma que está escrito número 1 (Universidade), não precisa pagar novamente. Os ônibus tem o seu próprio corredor e anda rápido. Descendo no ponto Universidade, estará bem pertinho do Monteserrate, ou se quiser ir a Candelária é só descer no ponto da Candelária ou ir para a Zona Rosa que é a região dos hotéis. Preço do Transmilênio com o cartão é de: 7,10 mil pesos colombianos já incluso o cartão. Se for de táxi ida e volta seria 80 mil pesos. A diferença é enorme. Lembrando que o nosso dinheiro vale muito por lá. Caso esteja de conexão longa e queira ir dar um pulo na Candelária ou no Montesserrate que é um dos pontos mais famosos de Bogotá, saiba que é possível. Deixe suas malas no guarda-volume que está localizado no primeiro andar e o preço para uma bagagem é de 10 mil pesos. Prático e seguro.
Catedral de Bogotá
No primeiro dia em Bogotá é necessário ir com calma, devido a altitude que pode provocar mal estar como: dores de cabeça, cansaço, fadiga, palpitações e até desmaiar. Vá com calma!! O local mais procurado pelos turistas em Bogotá é o bairro da Candelária que compreende o Centro Histórico. É lindo e vale muito uma visita. Cheio de casarões bonitos, bem preservados, com sacadas coloridas, é lá que estão as grandes atrações como: Museo del Oro, o Museo Botero, a Casa Moneda, a Plaza de Bolívar, que abriga a Catedral e o Capitólio.

Durante os domingos e feriados, as ruas ficam cheias de colombianos e turistas andando a pé, de bicicleta ou de patins. As famílias saem às ruas para curtirem as ruas de Bogotá. É mesmo uma oportunidade e tanto. O inconveniente são as filas para entrar nas atividades turísticas como o Monserrate.
La Candelária
Ainda na praça está a Iglesia de San Agustín, o Senado, o Palácio da Justiça e a Catedral de Bogotá. Estes são os pontos que já foi muito divulgado nos filmes a respeito de Pablo Escobar, um chefão do Narcotráfico da Colômbia.
Zona T
Cerro Monserrate
Bem pertinho do Museo Botero está outro museu muito famoso, que infelizmente, não entrei. O Museo del Oro o site é: http://www.banrepcultural.org/bogota/museo-del-oro Da próxima vez que voltar a Bogotá, com certeza irei, porque foi muito recomendado e no site dá para ver como ele é mesmo imponente e conta muito da história Pré-colombiana. Outra região que não fica muito próximo ao centro e que as pessoas optam em hospedar é a Zona T, ou Zona Rosa. Um bairro bem charmoso e mais chique, onde estão vários bons hotéis. A noite é movimentada e cheia de bares.
Restaurante no Cerro Monserrate
O ponto alto da cidade, se falando literalmente, é o Monserrate, que é lindo e está bem alto a 3.400 metros de altitude. Geralmente está sempre nublado, mas a vista da cidade é perfeita.
Via Sacra
O Cerro Monserrate faz parte da Cordilheira dos Andes e é também um ponto de peregrinação religiosa. Estando na Candelária se for do tipo que gosta de caminhar, dá para ir caminhando tranquilamente e não tem como se perder, afinal, é só olhar pra cima que já se avista o Cerro. Se quiser ir de táxi não é caro, cerca de 4 mil pesos.
Basílica Santuário del Señor Caído de Monserrate
Lá no alto do Monserrate está a Basílica Santuário del Señor Caído de Monserrate, do ano de 1640. Muitos fiéis sobem até o Santuário fazendo peregrinação para renovar seus votos.
Vista de Bogotá
É possível subir o Cerro Monserrate a pé, de funicular ou de teleférico. Quando estive lá pela primeira vez era feriado e não deu para subir, a fila era enorme. Voltando pela segunda vez durante a semana não tinha fila e foi bem tranquilo. O teleférico não estava funcionando e subimos de funicular. Uma boa opção, a vista da cidade é bem bonita. As fotos não ficam boas, porque ficamos dentro de um bonde onde as janelas são fechadas. O dia estava nublado necessitando de flash e devido ao vidro as fotos saiam com o reflexo do flash.
Cerro Monserrate
O ticket custa 20 mil pesos colombianos e se compra na portaria. A subida não é demorada, cerca de 15 minutos. A vista da cidade lá de cima do Cerro é linda. Possui o Santuário e dois bons restaurantes, com vista para a cidade. Aberto de segunda a domingo. É possível desde que esteja funcionando, subir de teleférico e descer de funicular. Os horários são diferentes e durante a semana não é possível fazer esta troca. De segunda a sábado, o funicular funciona pela manhã 7:45 às 11:45 e o teleférico à tarde meio-dia a meia-noite. Aos domingos e feriados o funicular funciona de 6:00 às 18:00, e o teleférico de 9:45 às 16:30.
Os dois restaurantes localizados no Monserrate são muito bons, os preços nem tanto. Mas, pela localização não poderia ser diferente. A vista é bem bonita.
Cerro Monserrate
O funicular não deixa no alto, depois que desce na pequena estação tem ainda uma caminhada, por lojinhas, banheiros, lanchonetes, restaurantes e pela Via Sacra que tem no Cerro, com estátuas representando a Via Crúcis de Cristo. O teleférico deixa na parte mais alta do Cerro, bem pertinho da igreja. Mas, a caminhada não é tão extensa e é bem tranquila de fazer.

QUANDO IR A BOGOTÁ
A cidade possui Clima Temperado e devido a sua altitude, possui um clima com temperaturas constantes ao longo do ano com uma média em torno de 14 graus. A nebulosidade é constante, mas os meses mais secos são entre dezembro e março e junho e julho. As épocas mais chuvosas entre abril e maio e setembro e novembro. Lembrando que a cidade é fortemente influenciada pelos fenômenos La Niña e La Ninõ.
