A cidade do México é a capital mexicana, foi fundada por volta do século XIV e era a capital do Império Asteca, quando se chamava Tenochtitlán, que acabou por ser completamente destruída pelos espanhóis em 1524, suas ruínas ainda podem ser vista e visitadas na cidade. Foi reconstruída posteriormente seguindo os padrões espanhóis e isto fez com que a cidade tenha grandes monumentos, belas igrejas, prédios grandiosos, teatros e muito mais. A cidade é bem efervescente e muito populosa, com cerca de 9 milhões de habitantes e é a cidade mais populosa do México e da América do Norte e está entre as mais populosas do mundo. Tem muito o que visitar na cidade e ela não decepciona.
Letreiros no Paseo de La Reforma
O primeiro passo para quem vai conhecer a cidade tem que ser dado antes de ir. A cidade é gigante e tem muito o que conhecer. Portanto, estude com calma os pontos de interesse. A cultura Asteca é ainda muito forte na cidade e a comida é bem diversificada e típica. A Catedral da Cidade do México é o grande ponto de partida. Catedral Assuncion de Maria
Chegamos na Cidade do México pelo Aeroporto Internacional da Cidade do México Benito Juárez, que é bem organizado. https://www.aicm.com.mx/ A passagem na imigração foi super tranquila. Brasileiros não precisam de visto, apenas o passaporte. O fiscal entrega um papel da imigração que se deve guardar junto ao passaporte, para ser entregue no dia que sair do país. A oferta de táxis e transfers para o hotel é muito grande. Se pode utilizar o metrô que passa no Terminal 1, mas chegando com malas não é uma boa ideia, pois ele sempre anda muito cheio. Uma boa opção bem barato e prática é o metrobus. Não tem erro é só ir seguindo as plaquinhas “metrobus”. Tem uma máquina que vende o cartão (pode utilizar para mais de uma pessoa), o cartão são 4 mil pesos mexicanos e a passagem 30 mil pesos. Super barato. Tem um mapinha com a rota do ônibus e dentro dele tem lugar para colocar as malas. Muito prático desde que seu hotel seja localizado próximo a um dos pontos. Muito seguro, tem um policial em cada ônibus. Lembrando que o nosso dinheiro vale muito mais que o peso mexicano.

Durante o percurso feito pelo ônibus fomos observando a cidade. Devo confessar que fiquei um tanto assustada com a quantidade de pessoas e ruas um tanto desleixadas e um comércio de rua gigante. Tipo a 25 de março de São Paulo. Chegamos alguns dias após o terremoto que aconteceu por lá. As ruas estavam em reforma e vários prédios trincados e algumas igrejas inclinadas. Uma poeira fina por todo lado. Várias pessoas tossindo, inclusive eu. Logo percebemos que a cidade é bem segura. Tem policiamento por todo lado. Chegamos a contar mais de 20 policiais em cada quarteirão da Plaza de La Constitucion.

O nosso hotel era próximo ao Palácio Bellas Artes, no centro histórico. https://palacio.inba.gob.mx/ Um hotel 3 estrelas e que nos surpreendeu. Muito bom e recomendo com tranquilidade. Hotel Marlowe, https://pt.hotelmarlowe.com.mx/ fiz as reservas pelo Booking.com e pagamos cerca de 220 reais. Descendo no Palácio Belas Artes, andamos um quarteirão e já estávamos no hotel. Em cada esquina ou ponto de ônibus tem um policial preparado para orientar moradores e turistas. Reserve seu hotel no Booking.com aqui pelo Blog e nos ajude na divulgação.
Palácio Bellas Artes
Felizmente quando descemos do ônibus nos deparamos com este prédio belíssimo e posso garantir que encontrar algum que o supere é difícil. Foi inaugurado no século passado e fica localizado no Centro Histórico e ao lado da Alameda Central, que é uma área verde muito bem cuidada e apreciada pelos moradores. Ele deve ser admirado por dentro e por fora. No domingo a visitação é gratuita. Às segundas feiras não é aberto. Vale a pena uma visita!!!
Plaza de la Constitución
Iniciamos o nosso passeio pela Plaza de la Constitución, o Zócalo, neste local tem vários prédios governamentais, igrejas, restaurantes e uma praça gigante. É onde tudo começa. Lá também está localizado o escritório de informações turísticas. Ideal para pegar um mapinha e contratar algum passeio. Fechamos o passeio para as Pirâmides de Teotihuacán e a Basílica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe. Nos orientaram a ir no Palácio Nacional fazer a visita gratuita e apreciar os jardins e os painéis de Diego Rivera, que é orgulho dos mexicanos. Na praça nos andares superiores dos prédios estão vários restaurantes que oferecem uma bela vista do Zócalo. Os garçons ficam nas calçadas tentando conseguir clientes e a disputa é feroz.
Entrada para visitar o Palácio Nácional
Para fazer a visita ao Palácio Nacional é necessário ter o passaporte. A entrada fica na lateral do Palácio. Tem uma pequena fila que anda bem rápido e logo estávamos dentro do Palácio. Muito organizado, limpo e bonito. Assim que entramos nos deparamos com uma bela fonte e um jardim maravilhoso. Ao subirmos as escadarias já se pode admirar os famosos painéis do artista mexicano Diego Rivera. http://www.palacionacionaldemexico.mx/

Os painéis retratam a vida e a história dos mexicanos, com cores fortes e muitos detalhes. Foram pintados entre 1929 e 1951. É o edifício mais importante do México tanto pelo sentido histórico, artístico e turístico como pelo seu poder. Afinal, é a sede do governo mexicano.

Não é permitido fotos com flash. Foi o local onde encontrei mais turistas europeus. A sequencia dos detalhes da história dos mexicanos é muito bonita. Conta com lindos detalhes a luta do povo mexicano.
Palácio Nacional e um dos típicos táxis da Cidade do México
A melhor localização para se hospedar é mesmo o centro histórico ou a Zona Rosa. No centro histórico está localizado a maioria dos pontos turísticos e se pode fazer tudo a pé. A Zona Rosa não é muito distante do centro histórico e é um local mais caro e com avenidas mais modernas. É onde estão os melhores hotéis. Não fica muito distante dos pontos de interesse, mas terá que andar um pouco mais.
Templo de La Santíssima Trinidad
Saindo da Plaza de la Constituición, é uma surpresa atrás de outra. Cada esquina um belo prédio ou uma igreja centenária. A Cidade do México é repleta de lindos monumentos. Ficamos uma semana andando por ela e não conseguimos visitar tudo que gostaríamos. O Templo de La Santíssima Trinidad é muito antigo e tem muita história, assim como tantas outras. Foi construída em 1667, sofreu vários ataques e terremotos, tendo assim vários processos de reconstrução. Mas, continua mantendo os detalhes arquitetônicos e é uma das mais bonitas da Cidade do México.

Andando pelo centro da cidade nos deparamos com belos grafites de rua coloridos e muito bonitos, disputando espaço com pequenas lojas e vendedores ambulantes. O contraste entre o antigo e o colorido dos grafites é perfeito.
Igreja de Santa Teresa la Antigua e ao lado o Palácio de la Autonomia
Bem pertinho do Templo Mayor, que são as ruínas, notamos uma igreja que ao longe se observa a inclinação das paredes. É a igreja de Santa Teresa la Antigua um dos mais belos exemplos da arquitetura barroca aplicada nos conventos de freiras da Ordem das Carmelitas Descalcificadas da Cidade do México. Hoje ela não funciona como igreja e sim como museu e abriga um centro cultural. O efeito de seus pisos afundados e paredes em declive é realmente estranho. Do lado está o Palácio de la Autonomia que é um museu e centro cultural, administrado pela Universidade Nacional Autônoma do México.
Apresentação típica na Plaza de la Constitución
A Plaza de La Constitución é mesmo o centro de tudo. Durante o dia ela fica lotada de gente. O governo organiza shows gratuitos para a população. Quando estivemos lá estavam montando um palco enorme para a apresentação do cantor Ricky Martin e em seguida já organizando para a passagem de final de ano. Deve ser uma festa e tanto!!! Sempre tem apresentações típicas bem ao lado da Catedral. Os turistas gostam muito e até recebem a pajelança dos índios. Claro que a um certo valor!!
Museu del Templo Mayor e as ruínas da Cidade de Tenochtitlan
O Museu del Templo Mayor está bem no meio das construções do Centro Histórico. Foram encontradas ruínas durante as escavações feitas entre os anos de 1978 e 1982 e os mexicanos fizeram questão que ficasse aberto a visitação para que a história fique sempre presente. Para os amantes de história e principalmente da Pré-colombiana, irá se apaixonar. É possível ir andando pelas ruínas na parte da altura da rua, isto é gratuito, ou pagar o ingresso que é bem barato e esperar um grupo para que o guia os acompanhe. Torre Latinoamericana ao fundo
Também no centro histórico está a Torre Latinoamericana. Foi o primeiro arranha-céus do México, por muitos anos foi o mais alto prédio da América Latina. Não é difícil encontra-la. Fica bem pertinho da Plaza de la Constituición. Possui 44 andares e se é possível do Mirador, avistar a cidade em um ângulo de 360 graus. Um passeio para turista, mas uma cidade grande como essa, vale a pena a visita. O ingresso é bem baratinho, cerca de 15 reais. Lá do alto a vista é bem bonita e se pode notar a dimensão da cidade. Tem lanchonete, loja de souvenir e um pequeno museu. O ingresso vale para o dia e se pode comprar na bilheteria, tem uma pequena fila. http://torrelatinoamericana.com.mx/

Casa de los Azulejos
Continuando o passeio pelo centro histórico, uma das ruas mais charmosa é a Francisco Madero. Nela está localizada a igreja de São Francisco, lojas de grife famosas, boates, restaurantes e a Casa de Los Azulejos, que funciona um restaurante Sanborns, que é uma rede de restaurantes. Sua fachada é toda revestida em azulejos e é muito bonita e bem preservada. Vale a pena entrar e conferir a parte interior, mesmo que não vá fazer uma refeição.
Monumento a la Revolución Mexicana
Um pouco fora do centro histórico, mas ainda no centro da cidade do México, mas do lado mais moderno, está o Monumento a la Revolución Mexicana, localizado na Plaza de La República. Uma grande estrutura de ferro foi construída para se tornar um símbolo nacional. Nele se encontra os restos mortais de vários heróis nacionais. Para subir até o topo tem que pagar ingresso, onde se é possível ter uma linda vista da cidade. Nos outros compartimentos está um museu onde se conta toda a história da construção e da Revolução Mexicana.
Chinatown da Cidade do México
Uma das menores Chinatown que já conheci. Porem não perdeu seus encantos, ruas enfeitadas de luminárias amarelas e vermelhas, lojas coloridas e vários restaurantes chineses. A Chinatown da cidade do México chama-se Chino. Tem um monumento em homenagem a imigração chinesa bem bonito. Chino fica no centro histórico e perto de vários pontos turísticos. Quando estive lá, as ruas estavam todas em restauração, devido ao terremoto.
A nova Basílica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe, note a inclinação da antiga Basílica do lado direito.
A Basílica de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe é um dos maiores santuários católicos do mundo. São duas, uma muito antiga, do século XVI, está com vários problemas de estrutura, seu piso foi construído seguindo o desnível da colina e devido a ação do tempo e vários terremotos suas paredes estão visivelmente inclinadas. É muito usada para batismos e fica em uma área muito grande, com um pátio enorme onde se é recebido os fiéis em dias de festas. Do lado está a outra basílica, esta bem mais moderna, do ano de 1974, é onde são celebradas as missas. Recebe mais de 20 milhões de visitantes todos os anos. Não está próxima do centro, cerca de 10 km. Se é possível ir de transporte público, mas uma boa opção é comprar das várias agências de turismo que existe na cidade o tour que leva às Pirâmides de Teotihuacán e a Basílica. Estão na região norte da cidade. Lembrando que o metrô da cidade é algo surreal. Anda o tempo todo excessivamente lotado. Caso resolva ir por conta própria tem uma estação de metrô, La Villa – Basílica, a 5 minutos de caminhada, Linha 6 vermelha.
Basílica Santa Maria de Guadalupe
A Basílica está em um monte que se chama Monte Tepeyak. Em uma das capelas, tem a opção de subir até o topo e de lá ter uma bela visão. Dentro do santuário tem lojas e o comércio é bem intenso. Do lado de fora está a Capela de Bendiciones, onde sempre tem um aglomerado de pessoas e um padre jogando água benta. No pátio externo está o Carrillón, que é o relógio da Basílica. Ao redor da Basílica tem várias lojas de souvenirs e restaurantes e está sempre lotado de vendedores, fiéis e turistas.
Cuitlahuac no Paseo de La Reforma
Ainda no centro da cidade, mas na parte mais nova, está uma avenida que vale a pena ser percorrida, a Paseo de La Reforma, uma avenida muito agradável de andar, com calçadas espaçosas, ciclovias, boas lojas, bares, restaurantes elegantes e é a região dos melhores hotéis. Tem 12 km de extensão e durante o percurso se vai admirando vários monumentos muito bonitos e bem significativos para os mexicanos terminando no Bosque de Chapultepec. Angél de la Independencia
O Angél de la Independencia fica bem no meio da Paseo de la Reforma e com certeza merece este destaque, é o monumento que concorre com a beleza do Zócalo. Está em uma torre de cerca de 50 metros e é todo dourado, mas nem sempre foi assim, já teve uma época em que o Angel caiu durante um terremoto e teve que ser substituído. Como o próprio nome diz, foi erguido em homenagem aos heróis da independência.
Diana Huntress
Seguindo pela Paseo de la Reforma se depara com uma bela fonte e ao redor os prédios mais altos da avenida. No centro da fonte está a estátua de Diana, a caçadora. Esta estátua já causou muita polêmica no país. Quando de sua inauguração em 1942, por estar nua, um grupo de pessoas exigiram que a cobrissem e isso foi feito com uma pequena saia de bronze. Posteriormente, após muitos anos foi autorizado a retirada de suas vestes.
Bosque Chapultepec
No final da Paseo de la Reforma está um bosque gigante, o Chapultepec ou “colina do gafanhoto”, é o maior parque urbano da América Latina. Em um dia é impossível visitá-lo. Só para se ter uma idéia lá dentro tem 5 museus: o Museu de Arte Moderna, o Museu Tamayo, o Museu del Caracol, o Museu de História Natural e o famosíssimo Museu Nacional de Antropologia, um jardim botânico, um zoológico, the Magic Chapultepec Fai, que é um parque infantil com uma montanha russa gigante, um castelo, lagos, uma feira e várias pistas de caminhada.
Altar a La Pátria
Este é um altar dedicado aos heróis da Pátria. São 6 altares que representam os 6 cadetes que foram mortos defendendo o Castelo de Chapultepec. Além do altar tem também o mausoléu, os corpos dos cadetes estão sepultados neste local.

Uma dica! Um dos prédios mais bonito da Cidade do México é o Palácio Postal ou correio. Ele é lindíssimo e acreditem!! ainda funciona. Ele é perfeito e está bem pertinho de outra maravilha que é o Palácio Bellas Artes. https://www.gob.mx/correosdemexico

QUANDO IR
Em qualquer época do ano é muito bom visitar a cidade. Quando aqui é inverno no México é verão. Mas, sempre faz frio e o clima muda muito durante o dia. As noites são sempre frias. As manhãs também são frias e durante o dia costuma esquentar muito. Os meses de chuva são no verão principalmente nos meses de junho a setembro. A qualidade do ar no inverno é duvidosa e costuma acontecer irritação nos olhos e muita tosse. Aconteceu comigo!! Procure se hidratar e leve medicamentos.
