Olá Viajantes,
Chegamos em Luxemburgo de ônibus vindo de Zurique, pela Flixbus, https://www.flixbus.com/ saimos às 19:30 e chegamos à 1:40. Comprei as passagens pelo site https://www.busbud.com/pt Pesquisei em vários sites sobre a segurança na cidade e todos afirmaram que é de 100%. Fiquei tranquila e comprei as passagens, reservei um hotel bem pertinho da estação ferroviária. Pois, mesmo chegando de ônibus a chegada é na mesma estação. O Hotel é relativamente simples, para os padrões de Luxemburgo, fica localizado a 200 metros da estação, mas seria o ideal para o nosso objetivo, dormir, deixar as malas e sairmos cedo para bater pernas. Assim que desci do ônibus, já estranhei o clima. Havia olhado na previsão e o mínimo seria 9 graus e estava 1 grau. Um frio lascado! Perguntei à um policial qual a melhor direção para a rua do hotel e ele nos disse que era só seguir reto, porem sabia que deveríamos virar uma esquina, ao fazer demos de frente com dois senhores de mais de 50 anos usando cocaína, fingimos que não vimos e seguimos, mas desconfiei que estávamos indo na direção errada.

No meu celular tinha internet e pensei em olhar no GPS (Google Maps) mas, como brasileira, jamais abriria a bolsa naquela situação. Logo vimos 3 rapazes, já drogados, perguntamos assim mesmo. Um frio na espinha, pensei logo nos meus euros, ainda tinha muita viagem pela frente. Mas, felizmente eles indicaram o hotel e saíram gritando pela rua. Assim que entrei no hotel perguntei ao recepcionista se a região era segura e ele disse que totalmente e que aqueles rapazes só gostam de fazer arruaças pelas ruas. Pelo sim, pelo não, não aconselho que cheguem nesse horário em Luxemburgo. A porta do hotel era eletrônica e bem trancada. Se fosse tão seguro não seria assim.

Iniciamos a caminhada pela avenida que segue para o centro histórico, pegamos um mapa no hotel, estava muito frio, felizmente sem chuva, logo que passamos a ponte já estávamos de frente para os jardins, as Casamatas e as torres da Catedral. https://www.visitluxembourg.com/fr/adresse/misc/cathedrale-notre-dame Pena que estava nublado. Mas a sensação é que você está dentro de um conto de fadas.

A cidade de Luxemburgo que é a capital deste minúsculo pais de Luxemburgo é realmente lindíssima e com um dos maiores PIB do mundo. Faz limites com Bélgica, França e Alemanha. O país todo tem uma população de pouco mais de meio milhão de pessoas e uma área de aproximadamente 2586 km². Luxemburgo é o único grão-ducado ainda existente.
No mirante que dá uma vista linda dos jardins.
Trata-se de um país com três idiomas, onde o alemão, o francês e o luxemburguês são línguas oficiais. Falam muito português também, devido ao grande numero de portugueses por lá.
As antigas fortalezas da cidade e as Casemates
A cidade em um dia se pode conhecer praticamente tudo, desde que não perca tempo nos museus e igrejas. A estação ferroviária fica a mais ou menos 1.500 metros do centro histórico. Mas a noite é bem agitada, principalmente na Place d’Armas. O salário mínimo é elevado, mas o custo de vida também, muitos habitantes fazem suas compras diárias na Alemanha. O professor tem um bom salário, porem, tem que falar no mínimo três idiomas. Qualquer aluno também fala mais de um idioma.
Essa estátua é linda! Pequena e imponente, fica em um local muito bonito e faz uma justa homenagem aos soldados.
Tem uma localização impressionante: fica no alto com vistas para vales profundos e desfiladeiros. Durante séculos, esses desfiladeiros faziam parte da defesa da cidade.

Place d’Armes do outro lado, na lateral, cheia de restaurantes e bares com um coreto no centro.
Na Place Guillaume II, onde fica a prefeitura tem um centro de apoio aos turistas e se pode pegar mapas ou mesmo deixar as malas e não se assuste se encontrar o primeiro ministro andando por lá. https://www.vdl.lu/

Hoje estas vistas espetaculares são conhecidas como a “Varanda mais bonita da Europa” (Chemin de la Corniche), outro ponto muito interessante e diferente são as antigas fortificações medievais formado por um complexo sistema subterrâneo de passagens e galerias escavadas nas rochas. Durante a Primeira e Segunda Guerras Mundiais, muitas pessoas se escondiam dentro destes túneis medievais.

Enfim, depois de andarmos pelas ruas de Luxemburgo, infelizmente chegou a hora partirmos. A impressão que ficou da cidade é muito melhor que o esperado. Valeu a Pena!!! Recomendo! Voltamos para o hotel, pegamos as malas e nos dirigimos para a estação de trem. Esta é a vantagem de ficar sempre próximo da esátação. As malas eram pequenas e fáceis de manusear. Viajar com malas grandes na Europa é problema. De Luxemburgo fomos direto para Bruxelas.
QUANDO VISITAR LUXEMBURGO
Os meses de novembro, dezembro, janeiro, fevereiro, março e abril são frios. Principalmente, janeiro e fevereiro. Estive na cidade em abril e estava 4 graus. Nos meses de maio, junho, julho, agosto e setembro são excelentes para visitá-la. Os jardins estão floridos e o clima mais quente. As chuvas podem ocorrer durante todo o ano, julho é o mês mais seco.
