O Pantanal é mesmo lindo!! Dizem que já foi mais rico em fauna e flora, mas ainda continua com seus encantos e riquezas. O Pantanal é a maior área inundável do planeta, com fauna exuberante e cenários que encantam qualquer visitante, e perfeita para observação das mais variadas espécies. É o bioma mais exaltado quando se fala em Mato Grosso. É considerado pela Unesco Patrimônio Natural Mundial e reserva da biosfera.
Poconé, a cidade que é a porta de entrada do Pantanal.
Para chegar ao Pantanal Norte, no estado do Mato Grosso, o ideal é ir até Cuiabá http://andiamoblogviagens.com.br/cuiaba/e de lá seguir por uma via asfaltada e boa, a MT-060, por cerca de 100 km até Poconé, que é a entrada do Pantanal. Ali inicia a Transpantaneira. De Poconé em diante após andar por 5km em asfalto se inicia a estrada não asfaltada. São cerca de 145 km até Porto Jofre que é o final da Transpantaneira e onde se faz as pescarias profissionais.

A alta temporada no Pantanal mato-grossense vai de julho e outubro. Por estar no período da seca, a época facilita a observação da exuberante fauna e flora locais. Entre os animais, estão capivaras, jacarés, macacos, veados, aves e, com (muita) sorte, onça-pintada. Mas, na época da cheia se pode ver a quantidade de partes alagadas. Mas, a chance de ficar atolado na Transpantaneira é enorme. Geralmente se faz os passeios através de agencias de turismo contratadas em Cuiabá. O transporte é em vans muito confortáveis, com água gelada e ar condicionado. Logo que começa o percurso na Transpantaneira se avista vários pássaros e jacarés por todo lado

Uma das pontes da Transpantaneira e turistas aproveitando para tirar suas fotos
O nosso percurso seria até o rio Pixaim, na Pousada Mato Grosso, onde faríamos o passeio de barco. Seriam 65 km de Transpantaneira e 31 pontes. Até o Porto Jofre são mais de 130 pontes. Elas são mais altas que a estrada devido a inundação, algumas são bem mais altas.
Garças brancas! Como são lindas e elegantes.
O Pantanal é visitado por mais de 90% de estrangeiros, principalmente europeus. Eles preferem os safáris fotográficos, geralmente não fazem pescaria. É o único lugar que se encontra os 3 sistemas: Pantanal, Cerrado e Amazonas juntos e em alguns pontos se pode perfeitamente ver a diferença. Um de solo mais avermelhado e outro mais branco. Em Poconé tem mineradoras de ouro que estão na região a mais de 50 anos.
Esse pássaro nasce branquinho e com o passar do tempo quanto mais crustáceos ele come mais rosa ele fica.

São pontes e pontes. E muitos turistas
A topografia é dividida entre alta e baixa: Capão e Cordilheira. 220 mil km ficam alagados quando o rio Cuiabá transborda. Quando vem a seca os peixes grandes voltam para o rio e os pequenos ficam, onde viram alimentos para os pássaros. A base da cadeia alimentar no Pantanal é o peixe. Já fazem oito anos que a enchente não é satisfatória, seriam necessários 4 anos seguidos de boas enchentes para que o Pantanal voltasse ao normal.

No Pantanal já foram catalogadas mais de 1.100 espécies de borboletas. contam-se mais de 80 espécies de mamíferos, sendo os principais a onça-pintada, capivara, lobinho, veado-campeiro, lobo-guará, macaco-prego, cervo-do pantanal, bugio, porco do mato, tamanduá, anta, bicho-preguiça, ariranha, quati, tau e outros.

Além da observação de onças e pássaros, a região do Pantanal tem muita cultura para ser conhecida. A Cavalhada, por exemplo, é uma das mais ricas manifestações da cultura popular. Outra manifestação cultural típica do município de Poconé é a Dança dos Mascarados, uma mistura de contradança européia, danças indígenas e ritmos negros. Participam apenas homens.
