Ola, viajantes,

O Vale Sagrado dos Incas é uma região de Cusco a Machu Picchu e é cheio de vales e montanhas e segue o percurso do rio Urubamba. A primeira cidade é Pisac e para conhece-la é necessário comprar um ingresso. A cidade é na verdade um Sítio Arqueológico localizada em uma montanha e a vista de cima é muito bonita. Pisac tinha uma função religiosa dentro do Vale Sagrado dos Incas, mas também era muito usada para experimentações agrícolas e observações astronômicas.

 Foi um local que os Incas se estabeleceram pelas qualidades do clima e do solo.   Foi um ponto onde a produção de grão de milho ainda hoje é a melhor do país.

O Vale Sagrado dos Incas é compreendido  entre os povoados de Pisac e Ollantaytambo.  A melhor maneira de visitar o Vale Sagrado é com agência de turismo. Se pode contratar antes de ir ou em Cusco. Tem uma agência a cada esquina, ou diretamente no hotel. Os preços são praticamente os mesmo.  Vista de Pisac

Compramos as passagens de avião pela Avianca que foi o preço  mais barato na época.  https://www.avianca.com.br/web/home/destinos  a Latam e Copa também fazem o trajeto. https://www.latam.com/pt_br/  https://www.copaair.com/pt/web/br  Alguns tem conexão em Lima ou em Bogotá. O aeroporto de Cusco Velazco Astete  http://www.corpac.gob.pe/Main.asp?T=4160   é bem próximo do centro e muito  movimentado, com turistas do mundo inteiro.  Chegando no aeroporto, logo que desembarca, já será oferecido folhas de coca para mastigar. Não pense que é folclore, já utilize! A altitude é algo que devemos respeitar. Em todo hotel tem o chá de coca. Beba devagar e sempre, principalmente nos primeiros dias. Cusco é ainda mais alto que Machu Picchu. ” A mal de altura (soroche), é algo que pode atrapalha o seu passeio. Procure fazer algo mais leve no primeiro dia. Ela provoca, dor de cabeça, fadiga, enjoo, cansaço, respiração ofegante. Algumas pessoas do grupo passaram mal e não conseguiram fazer a programação do primeiro dia.

A agência nos pegou no Hotel e lá fomos nós em um grupo que na verdade era o nosso grupo, que era de 10 pessoas. Fomos em uma Van, com o motorista e o guia. Logo que saímos de Cusco ele deu uma paradinha para observarmos um Sítio Arqueológico e a cidade. Próxima parada foi em um mirante, onde podíamos ver o vale e o rio que a partir daquele momento iria nos acompanhar por todo o percurso. As montanhas são muito altas.

Parte de Pisac que servia de sentinela

Ficamos dois dias em Cusco andando por nossa conta. Não tem segredo fazer os passeios em Cusco. No hotel eles oferecem um mapa da cidade e tudo se pode fazer a pé. A cidade é incrível!! No terceiro dia a  agência nos pegou no Hotel e lá fomos nós em um grupo que na verdade era o nosso grupo, que era de 10 pessoas. Fomos em uma Van, com o motorista e o guia. Logo que saímos de Cusco ele deu uma paradinha para observarmos um Sítio Arqueológico e a cidade de Cusco do alto de um penhasco. Próxima parada foi em um mirante, onde podíamos ver o vale e o rio que a partir daquele momento iria nos acompanhar por todo o percurso. As montanhas são muito alta

 Entrada do Sítio Arquelógico de Pisac

 Próximo a cidade de Pisac tem um mercado de produtos típicos. Os turistas ficam encantados. Mas, não difere muito do que vimos em Cusco e os preços também são compatíveis. Pisac tem um Sítio Arqueológico muito grande e fica bem no alto de uma montanha. Possui um cemitério muito estranho, encrustado na montanha. Não dá para aproximar. Mas, de longe se vê as aberturas. São em cavernas!! e foi saqueado pelos espanhóis e outros invasores. Os mortos eram sepultados com seus pertences valiosos. Tem muitos templos e pontos de sentinela. Eles morriam de medo dos inimigos.

Feirinha com produtos típicos da região

Depois de Pisac fomos para Urubamba, onde tem uma fábrica de jóias em prata e pedras. Eles explicam como é feita as peças e depois mostra a loja e prepare! São peças lindas e os preços razoáveis. Não comprei nada, mas pessoas do nosso grupo sim e deixou para dar no alto de Huayna Picchu. Aí arrasou né!!!

Depois seguimos para um restaurante muito bonito e comida boa. O almoço já estava incluso no passeio. Valeu a pena a comida estava deliciosa e com opção de vários doces peruanos. As bebidas não estavam inclusa no pacote. Mas, tudo bem é justo. Terminamos o almoço por volta das 14:00 horas e lá fomos nós para mais um percurso até Ollantaytambo. Seria nossa última parada antes de embarcar no trem que nos levaria até Águas Calientes, ponto de partida para Machu Picchu.

 Lojinhas de Ollantaytambo

Chegamos em Ollantaytambo e a surpresa foi enorme. Infelizmente não iríamos pernoitar. Mas, aconselho a qualquer um usufruir desta oportunidade. A cidade é a melhor do percurso e é a grande atração. Estacionamos próximo a uma feirinha permanente, que é uma graça. A melhor de todas, se bem que os produtos são os mesmos. A atmosfera da cidade é demais. Imagino a noite como deve ficar ainda mais surreal com a sua iluminação típica. É por onde a maioria segue de trem para Águas Calientes. A estação ferroviária é super movimentada e nem tanto organizada. Mas, não tem erro.

Montanha onde tem um rosto que os habitantes de antigamente julgavam ser o rei de tudo.

O rosto da montanha é chamado de Wiracocha, o rei da cidade. As formações na rocha parece mesmo ser um rosto com coroa. Na época, os moradores tinham muito respeito pelo “tal” rei era o Mestre do Mundo. Próximo a ele encrustado na montanha estava o depósito de grãos. Um compartimento quadrado. Pois, naquele local sempre está bem seco, devido aos constantes ventos da montanha. Por falar nisso, mesmo estando calor leve uma blusa de frio, o tempo muda bruscamente e sempre faz frio.

Para subir até o cume do terraço de Ollantaytambo, tem que ter muito fôlego. São 242 degraus. Mas, devagar e sempre se chega lá e posso garantir que vale cada respiração ofegante devido a altitude. A vista é estonteante. Esses “degraus” que a gente vê de baixo não são os degraus utilizados. Esses são onde utilizavam para fazer as plantações, dizem que tinha terraços de grãos e de flores também. São muito altos cerca de 2 metros de altura. Os degraus que utilizamos para subir são os da lateral.

 Ollantaytambo e suas lojinhas e ruelas

Paralelo às ruas de Ollantaytambo, desce uma canalização de águas limpíssimas, cristalinas e muito geladas. Descem das montanhas e passam na porta das casas. Enfim, visitar Ollantaytambo, é uma experiência única. Com um gigantesco complexo arqueológico, religioso, administrativo, militar e agrícola, construído estrategicamente para controlar todo o Vale Sagrado, edificado entre imensos muros e rochas. Com feira, lojinhas e muito colorido.

  Parque arqueológico Ollantaytambo

Quando o trem chega é um vai e vem danado de pessoas. Alguns que ficam e outros que seguem. Nós seguimos e a viagem de trem é impressionante. As montanhas no decorrer do percurso vão ficando cada vez mais altas e é o sinal que estamos nos aproximando de Machu Picchu. Uma dica! Visite primeiro o Vale Sagrado e depois Machu Picchu, porque depois de Machu Picchu suas montanhas e grandiosidades ficam bem inferiores.  Animal típico da região e deles extrai os fios para fazer as roupas de frio, o leite e a carne

QUANDO IR AO VALE SAGRADO DOS INCAS

A estação é dividida entre chuvosa e seca. De dezembro a Março é chuvoso. Evite esse período, geralmente quem vai ao Vale Sagrado está em direção a Machu Picchu e nesse período pode ocorrer do Sítio Arqueológico estar fechado para visitantes. O período da seca vai de abril a novembro e é a melhor época.
