Peschiera del Garda  é uma pequena cidade na Itália, com vista para o lado sul do Lago de Garda, o maior lago da Itália.  Localizada a 29 km de Verona, a cidade de Romeu e Julieta. A cor do  Lago de Garda é de um azul lindo, ao seu redor estão belas vilas e pequenas cidades, cada uma com sua identidade própria. Localizado na região rica da Itália, entre Trentino, Veneto e Lombardia. Já sofreu muitas invasões, guerras e domínios. No entanto toda essa história só fez com que a região ganhasse ainda mais charme e beleza. Saindo de Verona, mesmo não tendo GPS, não tem segredo, já que as sinalizações são ótimas. Outra opção são os trens. Andar na Europa de trem é prático, barato e fácil. A cidade é cercada por muralhas do século XVI. Construídas pela Signoria Scaligera de Verona. Já foi muito útil no período de guerras.

É possível fazer uma visita a Fortaleza e andar entre as suas ruas estreitas, seus jardins, lojas e restaurantes. Essa fortaleza possui um sistema hidráulico fenomenal, do tempo de sua construção que funciona perfeitamente. Para os entendidos nesta área é um passeio imperdível.  Fazer uma caminhada pelo seu calçadão a beira do lago, sentar em um dos restaurantes com vista privilegiada é mesmo um deleite. Uma viagem lindíssima é fazer a volta do lago, pode ser feito de bicicleta e existem vários ciclistas que fazem o percurso. São 150 km, de boas rodovias e vistas encantadoras, com cidades pitorescas e históricas. O percurso é cheio de castelos, praias, vinícolas e muitas plantações de oliveiras.  Durante a alta temporada os estacionamentos ficam lotados e as praias cheias de turistas. Existem algumas  praias que são pagas. Por 15 euros é oferecido cadeiras, toalhas, estacionamento, bar, restaurante. Pensando que de qualquer forma irá pagar um estacionamento. Vale a pena! outra opção são os Scooter que podem ser alugados. As cidades do norte são: Limone (Lombardia), Riva del Garda e Torbole (Trentino), Malcesine (Veneto), as do lado sul são:  Sirmione, Desenzano del Garda, Torre de Benaco e Toscolano Maderno

A catedral de Peschiera del Garda está localizada na Piazza Ferdinando di Savoia.  Ao lado estão as ruínas da colônia romana. O Santuário della Madonna del Frassino, é famosa em toda a Itália, por ser um local de peregrinação. Existe também alem da Fortaleza um Museu Militar, muito organizado e com vários documentos e aparatos históricos.

COMO CHEGAR A PESCHIERA DEL GARDA

De carro é muito fácil, a rodovia é a que liga Milão a Veneza, a A4, pegar a saída para Peschiera del Garda. De trem é só pegar um  que vai até Peschiera del Garda, já que tem uma estação ferroviária na cidade. De avião, fica um pouquinho mais distante. Do Aeroporto de Verona, são 20 km, do Aeroporto Orio al Serio, são 80 km e de Milão cerca de 120 km.

Próximo a Peschiera del Garda  existe alguns Parques Temáticos, o mais famoso é o Gardaland. Localizado na margem do Lago de Garda, entre Peschiera del Garda e Larize em Castelnuovo del Garda.

É muito visitado por turistas, possui 6 montanhas russas e várias outras atrações. O mais procurado é o Blue Tornado, que é super rápido com loops em alta velocidade. Em Peschiera del Garda, para os amantes de fotografia, irá encontrar o pôr do sol mais bonito da região.

Uma atração a parte é o passeio de barco à vela. O Lago é profundo e possui uma cor azul lindíssima. Isso ocorre devido ao fundo ser de pedras, sem contar que não existe um mínimo de poluição. As águas são calmas e é possível nadar com tranquilidade, tomar sol e curtir a praia que não tem onda. Afinal, é praia de lago. Quase não tem areia, as praias são de pedras.

 

QUANDO IR A PESCHIERA   DEL GARDA

A melhor época com certeza é o verão. Nos meses de junho a setembro, o clima é mais quente e as atividades ao ar livre são mais aproveitadas. Nos meses mais frios, não irá aproveitar muito. A água é super gelada e venta muito, dificultando as atividades náuticas. Mas, pensando em apenas conhecer isso não será problema. Evite os meses de novembro a fevereiro que pode chegar abaixo de zero e até nevar.
